Hi All at Zinnia Bridal, I promised to send some pictures of my gorgeous dress that I got from you. When looking for a dress, I done the usual, going to every wedding dress shop and trying them all all, then leaving them all empty handed. I was so worried that I would not find that perfect dress, until finding your website. To be honest my first impression was "Yeah i love the dress and at that price I can afford to buy it and sell it on if its not suitable". However when my Starla Wedding Dress arrived I was so so happy. You all made my day, I hardly altered the dress to fit like a glove! THANK YOU SO MUCH!! Jade x |
I've always dreamed of getting married barefoot in the sand next to the crystal clear turquoise waters of the Caribbean and the warm sun on my shoulders. We picked Nassau, Bahamas for our location. It was everything we were looking for. I had many ideas in mind for my gown but when we decided on a Valentine's Day wedding, I knew I had to find something with some red or burgundy accents. I had seen Zinnia Bridal dresses on eBay and always loved them, but never found anything with the color idea that I had in mind so I took a chance and e-mail Phil and asked him if he happen to have anything. He promptly emailed me back and said that he had the Burgundy Jade wedding dress on it's way but it was not yet available and gave me a link so that I could view it online. Well, I simply fell in love with it and had to have it. I immediately emailed Phil and told him "I got to have it.....how do I get it?" After a few minor details and within just a few short weeks the dress was delivered to my door. I couldn't wait to see it in person so I opened it up immediately. It was even more beautiful than the picture.....I knew it was going to fit right in with our Valentine's Day wedding in the Bahamas! |
Just a couple of photos of me in my Mona Wedding Dress. The dress was lovely and I had lots of compliments - I've recommended your site to a couple of friends who are getting married this year. Thank you for all your help.
Kind regardsAmanda |
Hi, I am just writing to thank you for the beautiful dresses that my bridesmaids and I had for my wedding on 23/10/08. I wore the Stephanie wedding gown and my bridesmaids were both in the meg gown. Everyone commented on how stunning all the dresses were. Any questions i had were answered swiftly and concisely, and you managed to custom make my Meg bridesmaid dresses much quicker than i could have hoped. The quality of service which you provide is outstanding and i have already recommended Zinnia to many of my friends who are planning to get married in the near future. Thank you so much for my gorgeous dresses!

The Jade Wedding Dress is absolutely stunning. There are touches of silver in the bodice embroidery that I didn't notice on the website which made this even more perfect for me. The quality is just stunning and it fitted perfectly, straight out of the box, no adjustments needed! Everyone was saying what a gorgeous dress I had on my wedding day as well. I would like to thank Zinnia Bridal for all their help and hope they continue to produce such great quality dresses at such great prices, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone." I bought my dress (Jade in burgundy),months ago, after falling in love with it over a year ago. Finally got married to Paul in November. The dress was stunning and I felt amazing in it. The wintry weather really set off the dress. I just wanted to say a HUGE THANK YOU for helping to make our day so special.

Hi, I bought the Annie dress back in April/May 2008 after an ebay incident. I bought a dress from China on ebay, sent all my measurements of what I thought was my ideal dress. When the dress came 2 months later it was nothing I had in mind, poorly made and looked awful. I was heartbroken and had no idea how I could afford to get the dress that would make me feel like the princess I should on my wedding day.
Then I came across Zinnia Bridal and I was very dubious at first from my recent experience but I emailed them and they were very helpful and replied to my emails very quickly. I ordered the Annie wedding dress on the Thursday before good Friday, on the Tuesday it arrived, to my amazement. It was absolutely gorgeous and exactly what I'd seen on the website. I was so pleased that I could finally walk down the isle with my head held high. So many people commented on how beautiful it was, and it really really was.
I would like to say a massive thank you for making me look and feel so special on my wedding day and I have recommended you to many of my friends who are getting married in the next year. I can not thank you enough. I have attached some pictures.
Thank you
Paula and Scott

My name is Anita, and I just wanted to say how happy I was with the service and product quality I received from your company. I bought the Sadie wedding dress a couple of months ago, and now that the wedding is over, I thought I would send you a couple of pictures. Thanks for answering all of my questions - The dress was perfect! Thank you again!

Hi Danielle!
I just wanted to send you a picture and a testimonial for your website because I was so impressed with your service. I ordered my Chloe wedding dress from you back in January 08 for my wedding On May 10th. The beautiful dress arrived in the UK within 3 days and apart from being far too long, was a near perfect fit. You were always so quick to respond to any queries and I can't recommend you enough to people. We had a perfect day and everyone went mad over my dress!!!
Thanks Again

Gavin and I were married on the 31st of January 2004 in Canberra, Australia. Everyone loved the dress and were amazed when I told them how much I'd paid for it (considering that buying a similar dress here in Australia would have cost 4 times as much.) I have passed your website address onto many ladies and continue advocating your business to anyone I know that is planning to marry. My niece wants me to give her the dress so that she can wear it when she gets married :o) In relation to my dealings with your company, I have to say that I was a little skeptical at first as I'd never bought something over the net from another country before but you were very professional each time I spoke to you - which was allot I think :o) and that put me at ease. When I picked up the Cynthia wedding dress from the post office I was so excited that I had to open it there and then! I didn't have a knife or anything similar in my car so I had to cut/tear through the tape with my car keys - it took almost 20 minutes to get the box open hahahahahaha Friends of mine who married before me feel really stupid that they paid between $2,000 and $3,000 Australian dollars (or sometimes more) and I paid less than $1,000 all up! Yes, that includes the postage, the conversion from US dollars and the minor alterations. Thanks so much for helping my (and Gav's) day one to remember.

I bought an Eve burgundy wedding dress from you three years ago, and on my wedding day on the 18th August 2007 it looked perfect. Ian and I got married in a small Church near Chichester in England and everyone commented on how beautiful my dress was (many people thought I had it made for me). I never had it altered and it fitted like a glove. All I can do is recommend you to all my friends, thank you so much!

I had been looking at magazines and on several websites for my wedding dress, but anything I liked was out of my price range. That's when I came across Zinnia. I was so impressed with their website and beautiful range of dresses, and I set my heart on the Vivian wedding dress. Nothing compared to it. When it arrived (only a few short days after ordering) I was delighted that not only did it look even more gorgeous than in the photos, it fitted me perfectly, no alterations required. (Although I did have to cut out a few biccies and choc cakes!!) My wedding day itself was amazing, everything went according to plan with no hiccups at all. I got to the church about 10 minutes late (well, you have to make him sweat a bit don't you!) There was glorious weather all day long and everyone said how lovely the day was and my dress received compliments no end! We tied the knot in a beautiful village church, St Nicholas Church, Harwicke (Gloucestershire) UK. We then proceeded to Forest Green Rovers FC, Nailsworth for our wedding breakfast and reception, our room was beautifully decorated with ivory and gold balloons to match myself and my gorgeous bridesmaids. It has to be said though, that our daughter Alyssa (18 months) stole the whole show, and was a complete angel all day. One warning to all brides: DO remember to take car keys to your first night hotel! my overnight bag was locked in the boot and I had to sit in a towel the next morning waiting for my mother in law to bring us our car keys so I could get dressed!!! I am so grateful to Danielle and the Zinnia team who made buying the most important outfit of my life a little less daunting, there's always a risk with internet buys, my mum particularly was worried, but I couldn't have asked for more when it arrived. As well as the dress, Vivian, I also bought the underskirt and the ivory satin bolero jacket.

Gary and I got married at the Strathblane Country House Hotel in Scotland on June 17th 2005. I had foolishly decided to take the bulk of responsibility for organizing the wedding (oh, with hindsight!!!), and the closer the day came the more worried I got. One of the many ways the lovely people at Zinnia helped me was by answering any queries (trivial or not) very quickly and always managing to make me feel as if I were the only bride they were dealing with at that time. My family and friends thought I was mad making a purchase as important as your wedding dress online, and to be honest I was a bit worried at first. As you can tell from the way I and a host of other happy brides gush about Zinnia, there is no need to panic. The service is second to none, the people of Zinnia bridal really care about their customers and totally and completely understand the importance of the purchase we make with them. I am loving married life, I still think my husband is wonderful and I love him dearly. I had said to Leslie at Zinnia that I wanted to create an image of myself on my wedding day that would take my husband's breath away. He said I did that and more.

It was July 2005 when I received an e-mail from my future husband to be. We met on a dating agency and it all started from there. This is living proof that online dating does work and we are the happiest pair on this planet. Jennings was working for the United Nations in Nairobi which was something that really interested me as I work with social services here in Scotland. We met in January 2006 and got engaged when I was out in Kenya then came home in February and started planning our wedding which took place on 14th March 2007. I thought it very fitting since we had met online that I should start looking for my dress of my dreams online too. To which I found your web site and found the Leeza wedding dress I had imagined myself in. Your service was excellent and I received my dress along with my two bridesmaids dresses also in less than 5 days which so impressed me, and would recommend Zinnia to anyone getting married your prices were excellent and everything was just perfect. I can't thank you enough for making my day just wonderful. Yours sincerely, Marlene Asin

Calum and I were married on the 18th of February 2006 at the Ness Bank Church, Inverness, Scotland. We had the most fantastic day and after 5 years together it was certainly worth the wait. We had a traditional Scottish wedding with most of the men wearing kilts and a ceilidh dance at night. Calum made our wedding cake which was lovely. He is the head confectioner at the local bakery and that was actually where we met. I love stargazer lilies so Calum made sugar ones for the cake to match my bouquet. I found Zinnia quite by chance when I was looking for bridesmaids dresses. I couldn't believe the wedding dresses cost so little so I had a good look at them all and decided to go for it. A couple of days and one tiny box later I thought I had made a mistake but out it came and it was perfect. I can't praise you all enough and if I hear anyone is getting married I immediately tell them about you. Thank you for everything! And for my Cynthia Wedding Dress!

We were on holiday in Thailand in July 2004 when Ryan proposed on a beach in Phukett... We agreed that we didn't want to get married in cold Ireland and wanted to get married abroad in a hot climate. We got in touch with an Irish lady (Ann) that arranges weddings in Lanzarote, I spoke to her and she was so nice I knew that I could trust her to arrange my wedding. There was very little for me to do as Ann arranged everything.. All we had to do was arrive in Lanzarote with dresses, suits and rings.. I tried on loads of expensive dresses in bridal shops in Dublin and I just couldn't justify spending the money on a dress when I could put it into our honeymoon. This brought me to Zinnia Bridal, who had been recommended to me by a friend. I searched through the dresses and found Kylie wedding dress, this dress was very like a dress I tried on in Dublin, but for half the price. I was very nervous buying a dress over the internet and when the very small box arrived in just 2 days I was afraid to open it.. I went to my mothers house straight away to try it on, It fitted perfect but it was too long. Once I got it altered and had the length taken up, I just loved the dress and couldn't wait to wear it. The wedding day arrived on the 17th October 2006, there were 112 family and friends to share the day with us in Lanzarote. When I put the dress on I felt like a princess & couldn't wait to get to the church.. When I got to the top of the aisle Ryan was holding back the tears, it was so emotional. The dress was perfect and everyone complemented how beautiful it was.. And people couldn't believe when I told them I bought it over the internet.. I was very very proud of my Kylie dress.. My wedding day was most certainly the best day of my life, I owe a big thank you to Zinnia Bridal and my wedding coordinator Ann and of course to my new husband Ryan. "THANK YOU" to Zinnia Bridal for all the help with purchasing the dress. Oh and the money I saved on the dress went into paying for our amazing honeymoon to the Maldives and Dubai.

D avid and I were married on 23rd September 2007 at Stoke Place in Buckinghamshire. When he proposed a year and a half earlier my biggest worry was getting the dress as I am such a fussy person. I looked in all the shops I could and could find the right dress, then I stumbled across you website and after about a month of worrying about ordering it on the internet made the decision to just go for it. I bought the Starla wedding dress and when it arrived, I couldn't have been happier the dress was perfect, well made and just what I was looking for, in fact it was better quality and detail than anything I had seen in the shops and at a 3rd of the cost. We had an amazing day, it was everything we could have ever dreamed for and having such an amazing dress is part of what made it for us. Thank you once again for all your help and for all the money we saved by getting it from you! |
J osh and I got engaged on Christmas Eve last year. With only 6 months to plan a fairly large wedding, we had a lot of work to do. Obviously the first thing I wanted to do was get my wedding dress! I wanted something both stunning and elegant - the sort of dress I would only wear once in my life. I found the dress I wanted, but it was far too expensive. I emailed a photo of it to my chief bridesmaid anyway, and she agreed it was beautiful. It was a Maggie Sottero dress called Felicity. It was then that she did me the greatest service any bridesmaid could render - she found my dream dress on Zinnia for half the price I could buy it for in the UK! Needless to say, I decided the risk of ordering the most important dress of my life off the Internet was one worth taking. My dress arrived, and as we had anticipated it needed to be shortened, but since my mother is an excellent seamstress this was no problem. However, a slightly greater concern was that the little cap sleeves on my dress didn’t fit properly. In the end my mother suggested that we use some of the material we cut off the hem and the crystals etc from the cap sleeves and make straps. It worked perfectly; they were comfortable and looked just as though they were part of the design from the beginning! The reaction of Josh and all the guests on the day confirmed the fact that my dress really was outstandingly beautiful, and I’m so grateful to Zinnia for making it possible. After 6 months of trying to think of every little detail to make the day run smoothly, we were so happy to see everything fall into place. I grew up on a farm and since most of the photographs were taken at the farm we decided to go for a whole farming theme. Looking back at the photos it worked wonderfully, and gave our wedding a very distinct character! It also helped having a very creative photographer - he spent much of his time taking photos on the roof of my uncle’s old tractor which we borrowed as a feature for the photos! However, one of our favorite photos is the one with the cricket club score board - this was the spot where Josh asked me to marry him, and just over 6 months later, on 18 6 2004 we stood there as husband and wife. |
Stephanie's mother says: "Thank goodness - the photos have come out very well and as promised I have sent some to you. Stephanie looked absolutely gorgeous in her Jade wedding gown, and the bridesmaids looked just as sophisticated in their gowns too. Liam was ever the proud groom, also wearing his Iraq medal with honour. The day went according to plan (so did the weather!) although I was 20 minutes late driving Stephanie and my husband, Kevin, to the church. They have since returned to Germany, to their respective Army jobs, and to start their married life in Army quarters!"

Hi, Not sure if you remember me but I just got my photos back last week and I promised a picture of me in the dress. The first one shows the dress the best. Kind of neat the pastor is our cousin and flew in to surprise our family. They had no idea until they saw him in our wedding. It was beautiful day and I loved the dress! Thanks again for all your help. Trina

Received my Desiree wedding dress really quickly and when I tried it on, it was the perfect fit! No alterations needed. I felt like a real Princess on my day and everyone commented on my gorgeous gown! Our special day was a Re-Affirmation of vows, different to re-newing vows, as that casts doubt on your original wedding - which we didn't want! It was just the perfect dress for the occasion, so simple, so stunning, so very special. Our day was Valentine's Day 2006 and what a fabulous day it was! Thanks so much for everything. I have recommended you to everyone I know! Karen & Stephen.

Craig Holloway and I, formally Karen Royles, got married aged of 25 on the 28th of August 2004. We had been young sweet hearts and after 6 years of being together Craig proposed (with a bit of prompting) on my 24th birthday. As for the wedding we had decided on going abroad to Cyprus or Lanzarote, but as time passed plans changed. We spent ages looking at locations around Northamptonshire much to everyone's surprise as they expected that we would return home to Pembrokeshire to be married. We were very fortunate as there was a lovely parish church in our area which we fell in love with, St. Peter and St. Paul parish church Kettering. Eventually we found a location which had the water and the greenery that we had been looking for. Grendon Lakes is known for it's water sports facility which were very entertaining during and after the wedding breakfast. They put a marquee up between the club house and lake which was stunning, and arranged the tables just the way we wanted them. The day it's self was wonderful, mum's, dad's, families and friends had traveled for the occasion. My parents stayed with me and the brides maids (Debbie Noott and Erika Malein) dad drove us to the church in his soft top. Craig and his best man (Luke Lorch) arrived at the church in a spider Alfa-romao which had been borrowed from a local friend. Everything was wonderful, two of our closes friends did readings which were very sentimental, they did a brilliant job. The flower girl (Lucy) and page boy (Dan), Craig's niece and nephew, looked stunning, and behaved perfectly throughout. My brother, Craig's cousin and Sal were ushers who were also fantastic. The meal was lovely at grendon lakes and we even managed to keep it down when we had a speed boat ride afterwards. Every one was entertained as they soon realized there was a trampoline and skate boards there - on which one of our mates nearly broke his foot - which adds to the memories. "On the run" the band (who were excellent) performed Shania Twain - "you're still the one" for our first dance, after which every one drank, danced and SANG the night away - that was if they could dodge the very drunk person flying around the dance floor!! (Sarah) Oh yea, thanks for the lovely dress which arrived promptly, fitted perfectly and every one loved it!

Thought I'd send some pics of our lovely romantic wedding in Gretna Green Scotland. we didn't run away there as is the tradition, but had a very personal ceremony with just our family there and our little boy who I'm afraid stole the show in his kilt. I absolutely loved my dress. My Mother is a seamstress and was amazed at how well it was made. I think she had her doubts when I told her how little it cost. It was truly amazing and I looked and felt like a Princess. Thanks again, Jude and Gary

Apologies for only writing to you now, but rather late than never. Just a short note to thank you for your fantastic service and support during the planning of our wedding. John & I got married on the 13th October 2007 and I am still getting compliments about my dress. It was truly beautiful and I felt like a million dollars! I attach some pictures for your records and I have already recommended your service to two of my friends that are getting married later this year.

Heidi said "I have tried on and worn so many wedding dresses for modeling, but none of them are quite like yours. The soft satin, and quality of the gowns you have are like nothing else out there! I knew I would look stunning if I chose one of your gowns." And after wearing so many gowns, she wanted something special. Choosing the perfect gown was not hard for Heidi "I have always loved the Eve style. The only problem was that I was not much of a pastel fan." It just so happened that when Heidi checked back with us, we now had the Eve in White/Black! And the rest is history!

After getting engaged in July 2005, and then watching our best friends have the big white wedding in the UK we decided it was too much stress for us. So we agreed a luxury all inclusive holiday in Jamaica with the wedding out there was what we wanted. Straight away I went online looking for a simple long white linen dress, thinking of the temperatures out there I wouldn't want a full gown. I found what I wanted - £25 bargain. Until a few weeks after that I was searching online for something completely different and I saw this thumbnail picture of a dress. Clicked to enlarge it and fell in love straight away. I HAD to have that Kylie Wedding dress. I ordered from Zinnia on the same day and within a week the dress had arrived - great delivery time for US to UK plus monies clearing - excellent service. I rushed to my friends house to try it on (needed help being done up and obviously the groom couldn't do it!). The dress fitted perfectly. I just had to wait another 8 months to wear it again. We had my mum, dad and sister and Leo's dad and step-mum out in Jamaica with us. We booked everything through Virgin which removed a lot of the stress for us. We had a wedding coordinator on the resort who arranged everything. We got married Friday 21st April 2006 at 4:30pm at sunset, bare foot, standing 5 foot from the shore line. The dress was perfect, as soon as I rounded the corner, escorted by my dad, I could see Leo gasp at the dress. Later in the evening he said the linen dress would not have had the wow factor this one did. All in all we had a great day that was perfected for me because of the dress. Thank you so much Zinnia!

Dear zinnia I had the Vivian wedding dress. I fell in love with it when I saw it on the website and that was it I wanted only that dress. We got married on the 5th September 2006. It was a lovely day and the sun beamed down all day. We then traveled off the New Zealand where we had a second wedding. This was so that my parents could see it all. That happened on the 22nd December and again the weather was brilliant. I was very happy with the dress once I received it. I only had to have a very minor alteration done to it. It was the most beautiful dress every. Better then any dress I saw in the shops and a lot better quality. Thank you Zinnia Bridal and I believe it was Danielle at the help desk that helped me. You made my day perfect. Thanks Danielle.

Thank you so much I will recommend your site to everyone I know who's getting married!!

Andrew and I got married on July 10th 2004 at Chalkwell park rooms, after 9 years I finally got the day id always dreamt of, it wasn't the perfect time to do it though we had just bought a house, had a baby and bought a new car, so as you can imagine money was very tight, I had looked around bridal shops and had seen some very nice dresses but no way I could ever afford them! Then I found the perfect dress and it just so happened I could afford it, how lucky!! I even think now even if I had the money to buy the most expensive of dresses I wouldn't of been as happy as I was with the one I had chosen from you!!! I walked into the kitchen on the morning I had it delivered to see my granddad opening the box with a knife not knowing what it was!! Anyway my wedding day was perfect everybody said how beautiful I looked and my husband to be even had a tear in his eye when he saw me, I did feel like a princess walking around on my wedding day, the young boy in my wedding photos is my son Lewis and he looked so smart but we got married in a big park and it wasn't long before he fell in the lake right up to his chest so had to be taken home to be changed into his jeans and t-shirt! I have added a before and after picture!! Other than that little hic-up the day went great, it did rain nearly the whole day but as we were inside it didn't spoil it, I was pleased with the whole day but mostly with my dress I don't think I could thank you enough.
|
What a beautiful dress!! Response to questions regarding the dress were answered promptly and once ordered I received the dress within 4days! I felt like a princess and enjoyed every minute wearing this beautiful dress. Even with the alterations done this dress still cost me less than what I would have paid for a similar dress at any shop in the UK - GREAT DEAL! We got married at a beautiful, rustic, bush venue called The Owl's Nest just outside my husbands home town - it was a wonderful wedding!
|
It was a fantastic day, we got married in a English Stately Home in the UK, thankfully it didn't rain until we were leaving the venue!!! 16 months ago I had an horrific car crash with a bus in which I nearly died, I was crushed from the waist down and sustained 72 fractures to my hips and legs, initially I was told I would never walk, drive or work again, I had to undergo four major operations to insert pins, plates and screws in my legs to hold them together and was in hospital for six weeks, critical care for two of those, then bed ridden at home afterwards for months. I thought that was it, my life was over, resigned myself to a life on my own, I really thought no-body would want me now, I looked my worse, my legs looked battered and I couldn't even walk. Nick was my next door but one neighbour for three years, but we never really had anything to do with each other, when I was discharged, he popped round with a bunch of flowers and a get well card (just being a good neighbour), then a few days later he popped round again just to see if I was ok, I wasn't, I was very down and very bored, so he lent me a DVD player and a load of films to give me something to do and then came round more often for a chat to cheer me up, we would talk, drink gallons of tea and watch films together, we became a really good friends and I looked forward to his visits, this went on for about four months before we became an item in June last year, he gave me a reason to get over it and get well again, a reason to put on my make-up do my hair and even walk!!! and as slow as I was at first he never lost his patience with me once, it wasn't long before we realized it was love and we talked about marriage, I knew he was the one for me! October, my birthday, he presented me with a beautiful diamond ring which I knew nothing about until he got down on one knee in front of some family members in the middle of a restaurant!!! Then came the wedding, what made it even more special was due to distance a lot of the guests hadn't seen me since visiting me in a bad way in hospital, can you imagine their surprise when the doors opened and I walked in looking like that!!! I even managed to get down the aisle on one stick, which was a big surprise to everyone too, even Nick had a few tears rolling down his face, we had a really fantastic day, everything went to plan. Initially I was really worried about ordering from the internet as you couldn't really examine the gown's quality etc, but my fears were laid to rest on it's arrival it was gorgeous!!!!! and thanks to Leslie for the excellent service provided by quickly responding to e-mails and her fast response dispatching the goods. I received the gown at my home address in the UK just three days after placing the order!!!! And here I am now, happily married, I'm going back to work next week, I'm walking, even if it is on walking sticks were hopeful I'll get off them too and I have been driving now for 13 months!!!!!!! So there you go, our story, lost my car, almost my legs and gained a hubby!!!!!!!!

Dear Danielle, Having received the beautiful Jade dress last year, just before Christmas, I was absolutely astounded at its sheer beauty. The web site did not do it justice. Well my husband, oh my goodness I can say that now, and I were delighted at how the dress made me feel and also him as the glowing husband at his blushing bride on Thursday, 4th January 2008 in the snowy glen of Pittincrieff Park, Dunfermline Glenn, Fife in Snowy Scotland!!! You will see how snowy it was in the attached photos which you can use if you so desire as one of your testimonials to show the quality and glamour of one of your couture gowns. Thanks again, your advice was priceless.
