I AM NERVOUS ABOUT BUYING ONLINE. WHAT CAN I DO TO FEEL BETTER ABOUT THIS?
This is the most common concern we hear from brides visiting our web site. We understand your concerns. There are three critical reasons not to be nervous -
- Money Back Guarantee. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, please return your wedding dress or bridesmaid gown for a full refund! Effective in 2008, we no longer charge a restocking fee on returned wedding gowns. (See our very simple Return Policy for a more information). If you do not love your dress, please send it back! We want you to be happy.
- You will receive your wedding gown within in 3 days of ordering. Since you will be receiving your gown so quickly, you will be able to easily make up your mind, and not have to wonder for months if you made the right decision. Wouldn’t you agree that this removes a lot of the guesswork and will actually put you more at ease than buying from a traditional bridal shop? We think so.
- We have LESS than a 3% return rate. That’s right - only 1 bride out of 35 decides to send her QuickGowns wedding dress back for an exchange or refund. The other 34 brides are extremely happy with their purchase. We think this figure speaks for itself. HOW MUCH IS SHIPPING?
Shipping anywhere in the US is a flat rate of $35 for USPS Priority Mail Insured, and shipping to Canada is $49 flat rate. We want calculating shipping to be easy and straightforward. You are rewarded for ordering multiple items all at once, because shipping costs will not increase if you add more items or accessories to your order.
HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO RECEIVE MY GOWN?
Delivery in the US takes 3 days via USPS Priority Mail, and for brides that need their bridal dresses immediately, we can even overnight your gown for $80. For brides in Canada, we charge $49 for Express International Shipping Insured, and normal delivery takes about 5 business days. For an additional cost, we can ship gowns to Canada with a 1-2 day delivery (cost will vary based on location).
HOW DO WE SELL YOUR DRESSES AT THESE INCREDIBLE PRICES?
- We are able to sell at 50-80% off the normal retail pricing because we buy hundreds of gowns at one time, and because we sell directly to our brides as the manufacturer. The usual marketing model for so-called cheap wedding dresses typically increases the price you pay for your wedding dress by about 300% over the QuickGowns approach.
- QuickGowns produces high quality wedding dresses in our own factories, adhering to strict design standards. We inspect, stock, and sell these lovely wedding dresses to the public at about 1/3 of the normal retail sales price. Our approach is very simple and very efficient. All of this makes it possible for us to offer inexpensive, but definitely not cheap wedding gowns.
- Your Local Bridal Boutique has much higher costs associated with bringing a gown to market. First, they must find the nationally advertised bridal companies that produce high quality wedding dresses. Marketing costs for these giants are unbelievable! A one page ad in the typical bridal magazine can run these manufacturers over $10,000 each! That is factored into the final price charged to the bridal shop. The Bridal Boutique then has to bring in dozens of full price wedding dresses as samples to stock in their shop. More cost. These samples are often damaged by brides trying them on multiple times, and just the normal wear and tear of hanging a wedding dress in a bridal shop. These high cost samples need to be replaced each 6 months with the newest styles. More cost. Finally, your local bridal shop must pay for their bridal shop location, utilities, insurance, employees, commissions, and finally have something left over for themselves. More cost. All of these fair and reasonable costs add up! So you can see why, in order to provide you with this type of service, your wedding dress is often going to cost as much as 300% higher if you purchase from a traditional bridal shop!
I THOUGHT YOU HAD OVER 2000 GOWNS? I DON’T SEE THAT MANY.
To be fair, when we say we have over 2000 gowns in stock, this does not mean we offer 2000 different styles. When you consider sizes 4-28, in white, ivory, and light gold satin (not to mention the bridesmaid dresses, it is amazing how quickly the numbers add up. We pride ourselves on being able to ship your gown right away. So that is why our line is limited to less than 100 styles in total. We want the gown of your dreams to be in stock and waiting for you to purchase it!
CAN I PRINT OUT PICTURES OF YOUR DRESSES?
Yes. You will have to print out the whole page that the dress is featured on by clicking File (at the top left corner of your Internet browser), then click the Print or Print Preview button.
CAN I ORDER A PRINTED CATALOG?
Our web site is our current “online” version of a printed catalog. In order for us to provide the best bridal prices, and to always show actively what we have in stock, we no longer produce a printed catalog. Printed catalogs cost tens of thousands of dollars to produce. Guess who really ends up paying that cost? You guessed it – the bride-to-be. Even if we only save $10 per dress, we would rather use the Internet, a way to be most current, to market our wedding dresses.
CAN I GET A FABRIC SAMPLE?
YES. We do sell color charts of our fabrics, to help you in making decisions and to help you select the appropriate bridesmaid color. We do refund the cost of these samples if you end up purchasing from us. Please CLICK HERE to order a fabric sample card now.
ARE YOUR GOWNS BEING SOLD OVERSEAS FOR LESS?
No. Unfortunately, many Chinese web sites have cropped up lately, whose sole aim is to “steal” professional pictures from reputable bridal manufacturers (without permission), and represent these gowns as their own. This is nothing less than fraud. Since the product that you will ultimately receive from these shame companies will not be the same gown represented in the picture, and are almost guaranteed to be grossly inferior and of low quality, you are bound to be disappointed. Probably 5% of our business comes from brides that made this mistake. Terms like “junk” or “not even close to the picture,” are common remarks. The bad news is that they often pay outrageous shipping fees and customs duties, all of which are non-refundable. The shipping charge is the real profit center for many of these unscrupulous overseas companies. Buyer Beware! Don’t be fooled.
